QD12-36-B Concentricity Of Centre Bore

The concentricity of centre bore error is the radial difference Fr between two concentric bores in which all measured points are contained.

The unit to be inspected is placed on a granite surface plate and a dial indicator is mounted to a fixed indicator stand. The indicator tip is placed in the middle of the usable surface of the centre ring and the table top is rotated through two revolutions.

The maximum deviation of Fr is recorded.
